Banjo maker Mike will have a booth at this year's Old Falls Village Days on Saturday, June 4th. Mike explains the art and history of banjo making and banjo playing. From its origins in Africa, the modern day American banjo developed during the 18th and 19th century in Appalachia and has played a great part in the history of American folk, Bluegrass and county music.
On Sunday June 5th, Mike will be touring the grounds as a strolling minstrel from 11:00 am until 3:00 playing this unique, historical musical instrument known throughout the days of American history as the Banjo.
